Access to more than 500 journals in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Science, Technology and Medicine, with some content available in full text. Select the "SAGE Content Available to Me" radio button to find full text articles available in the SAGE database.
ScienceDirect indexes scientific, medical and technical information. Bryant University subscribes to the full text Social and Behavioral Sciences collection, which spans many disciplines and includes 350 full-text peer-reviewed journal titles. Full-text materials will be indicated by a green box next to the title, other material may include a citation or abstract only. To limit your search to full text articles only, select an "Advanced Search." Then, select "Subscribed Journals" from the "Source:" drop down list.
PsycINFO, from the American Psychological Association (APA), includes abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations. The database contains over 2.5 million citations and summaries. Ninety-eight percent of the covered material is peer-reviewed. The database also includes information about the psychological aspects of related fields such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, technology, linguistics, anthropology, business, law and others. Journal coverage includes more than 2,200 periodicals from 1887 to the present in more than 27 languages. PsycINFO is indexed with controlled vocabulary from APA's Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms.
"PubMed comprises approximately 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and preclinical sciences. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant Web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources.
