The Douglas and Judith Krupp Library was thrilled to have a visit from alumnus Douglas S. Krupp '69 H'89 last week! We were beyond excited to host the namesake of our library (though we did not get to see Judith Krupp, fingers crossed for our next visit!). Mr. Krupp toured the library with student Dylan Michuki ’27, David Wegrzyn '86, the Vice President for University Advancement, Provost Rupendra Paliwal, Todd Alessandri, the Dean of the College of Business, and Laura Kohl, the Director of Library Services, at the Douglas and Judith Krupp Library.
We showcased our collections, study spaces, and our current exhibit on the history of the library at Bryant. This exhibit focuses on the early days of the library from Bryant & Stratton to our current library here on the Tupper Campus and was carefully curated by Adriana Minacapilli, Abby Walker, and Madelaine Heaven of the Krupp Library team. We also gifted Mr. Krupp with a copy of his year book from 1969, which, being a library user, he joked he would return in a timely fashion.
We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Krupp for their support in establishing and continuing to support our wonderful library, which has been recently ranked #16 in the country by the Princeton Review, via student opinion.
We look forward to hosting the Krupps again in the future and sharing more of our successes with them!
An enormous thank you to photographer Pamela Murray for capturing this special visit.
