Welcome Class of 2026 ! Did you know the Library is a combination of three separate spaces for your studying preferences ? Leave your dorm behind, and come study at the Library this semester.
On the first floor, we have tables and chairs as well as leisure set-ups (couches and cub chairs) for you to study with your friends - and talking is allowed ! We do ask you to be mindful of those sitting around you, and not to be too loud with your friends. Mobile whiteboards are also located on the first floor if you need them for studying.
On the second floor, we have our 'quiet zone' for those students who like to study quietly with no interruptions. Talking at 'whisper level' is allowed. Leisure seating is also offered to our patrons, as well as a few larger tables if you wish to study with a friend or two (again, talking is allowed at 'whisper levels').
Finally, on the second level above the Grand Hall, we offer a dozen private "study rooms" which accommodate four to six students. These rooms are not sound-proof, so we ask that you are mindful of the rooms on each side of you when talking with friends. Whiteboards are located in each room, so check-out dry erase markers and erasers at the Borrower Service desk should you need to use the whiteboard. (You can reserve study rooms during peak times - such as weekends, mid-terms and finals).
