bioRxiv

bioRxiv (pronounced "bio-archive") is a free online archive and distribution service for unpublished preprints in the life sciences. It is operated by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a not-for-profit research and educational institution. By posting preprints on bioRxiv, authors are able to make their findings immediately available to the scientific community and receive feedback on draft manuscripts before they are submitted to journals.

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to the financial markets. Use your Bryant email account to login. Bloomberg Terminals B

Bloomberg Terminals provide detailed company profiles, including supply chain information, financial and industry news, and current and historical financial data.

As of June 30, 2022, the emergency remote access authorized by Bloomberg due to the Covid-19 pandemic has ended. Bloomberg Terminals must be accessed in person in the Krupp Library.

Bureau of Economic Analysis

The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis produces some of the key economic statistics, including U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP), international trade in goods and services, international transactions, and personal income. GDP information is also available by industry, state, county/metro areas, and U.S. Territories. Use BEA to locate the GDP price deflator and personal consumption expenditures price index.

Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is the principal fact-finding agency for the U.S. Government on economic and labor data including the Consumer Price Index (CPI), pay & benefits, unemployment, employment, productivity, and consumer expenditures & time use.

This database offers full-text content and peer-reviewed business journals in all disciplines of business, including management, economics, finance, accounting, and international business. This database also includes country economic reports from the EIU, DRI-WEFA, ICON Group and CountryWatch, as well as detailed company profiles for the world's largest companies.
