Cabell's B

Cabell's provides directory information on journal publishers and information about how to get papers and manuscripts published. Bryant's access to Cabell's Directories includes: Accounting, Economics and Finance, Management, Marketing, Psychology, and Psychiatry.

Calcbench B

Calcbench uses the new government mandated data standard XBRL to tap directly into the SEC’s corporate financial data repository to access and analyze financial data, understand competitor financials, identify potential risk areas, and analyze trends across industry sectors. Access to Calcbench is provided by the Accounting department and Business Analytic Center.

First Time Users: Go to calcbench.com/Bryant and sign up for your username and password using a valid bryant.edu email address.

CAS Source Index (CASSI) Search Tool

The CAS Source Index (CASSI) Search Tool is an online resource intended to support researchers and librarians who need accurate bibliographic information. This resource can be used to quickly look up or confirm publication titles and abbreviations, as well as CODEN, ISBN, or ISSN codes. The CASSI database contains a listing of publications indexed by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) since 1907.

Checkpoint B

Checkpoint is a web-based tax research system available to Bryant students and faculty only. We subscribe to "The Federal Tax Library" (includes U.S. Tax Reporter, Federal Tax Coordinator 2d, RIA Citator 2d, Journal of Taxation, Journal of Corporate Taxation, Practical Tax Strategies, a complete case law library, tax alerts and more) as well as the "Accounting & Auditing" module (contains accounting standards and regulations and accounting and financial statements such as the Accounting and Auditing Disclosure Manual and the GAAP Practice Manual). 

First Time Users or Renewals: http://cpreg.thomsonreuters.com/  Users must be on Bryant's campus the first time they create their account.  The account will be accessible from anywhere after that.  Accounts must be renewed on Bryant's campus each semester.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text B Z

This comprehensive research database provides full text for over 700 nursing and allied health journals indexed in the CINAHL database.  Additional materials included in CINAHL Plus with Full Text include Evidence-Based Care Sheets and Quick Lessons which provide concise overviews of diseases and conditions and outline the most effective treatment options.

Clinical Key B

ClinicalKey is a point-of-care clinical information service for physicians and other healthcare professionals. It provides access to a unique combination of medical reference books, medical journals, drug information, and practice guidelines.

Cochrane Library B

The Cochrane Library is an online collection of databases that bring together rigorous and up-to-date research on the effectiveness of healthcare treatments and interventions, as well as methodology and diagnostic tests.

Communication & Mass Media Complete B Z

This database offers full text and cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for journals on communication, mass media, linguistics, sociolinguistics, communication theory, language, organizational communication, and other closely related fields of study. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs, and searchable cited references from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1900). Funded in part by the Class of 2005.

Search U.S. federal and state resources including the Constitution, U.S. Code, Supreme Court, state law, and state statutes. 

CQ Researcher B Z

Provides background on contemporary issues and reports on historical events from 1923 to present, covering health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy. CQ Researcher is an excellent place to start your research about contemporary issues or to get a topic idea. Service is limited to 5 simultaneous users. CREDO Reference B Z

Access to over 300 reference books in a broad range of topic areas, from general reference to art to technology. Credo Reference includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, and books of quotations, as well as subject-specific titles in a diverse range of subjects.
